UC San Diego's Academic Enrichment Programs (AEP) unit provides research opportunities to both UC San Diego students and students from other universities. Under the AEP umbrella are a variety of programs, mainly targetting science, math, and engineering, designed to help facilitate undergraduate research by providing easy partnership opportunities for students who want to get involved. Additionally, their scholarship programs and summer programs help make college more affordable for many students.

This site was one of many short-turnaround projects at UC San Diego. Some future opportunities for the site include redesigning the individual program profiles and pages for more polish, incorporating social media features into the layout (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube), and developing an overarching theme to tie in the various program websites and the AEP website.
