The Online Academic Tutoring Services website was a cross EAOP/TRIO partnership. This PHP driven site leveraged the WizIQ video conferencing API to provide local middle and high school students with free tutoring services from UC San Diego students.
The FlashChat-based site that now resides at this URL was also deployed by William, and lightly reprogrammed for UCSD purposes. The login system was tied into more specific user roles, alerts were added for UCSD staff entry, the whiteboard plugin was modified for better operation of drawing features for tutoring purposes. The FlashChat client runs off of Adobe Flash Media Server. The UCSD ownership logos were added to the background.
